JD Vance’s false claim that ‘green energy scam’ ships jobs to China

JD Vance, the author of “Hillbilly Elegy” and a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate, recently claimed that the push for green energy in the U.S. is a “scam” because it sends manufacturing jobs to China. In fact, he has said that the U.S. is losing jobs to China as a result of policies that promote green energy.
