DOJ reaches settlement with ex-FBI ‘lovebirds’ caught in anti-Trump text scandal

The U.S. Department of Justice has reached a settlement with former FBI officials Lisa Page and Peter Strzok, following a controversy over anti-Trump text messages they exchanged during the 2016 presidential campaign. The pair were both involved in the FBI’s investigation into possible Russian interference in the election.
