The panda pair, named You You and Meng Meng, have arrived in Hong Kong and are welcomed with great pomp and ceremony as Beijing celebrates the 75th anniversary of communist China. These adorable creatures are a political gift from China’s central government, a symbol of unity and shared history between the two.
