Trump guilty verdict reveals split among former GOP presidential primary opponents

The guilty verdict on Donald Trump’s second impeachment trial has indeed highlighted the divisions among his former GOP presidential primary opponents. While the final vote had seven Republicans voting against Mr. Trump, marking the most bipartisan impeachment in US history, most party members of his party still sided with the former president.
