The Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF) recently released a new document offering guidance for verifying alleged supernatural phenomena. The ‘Norms Regarding the Manner of Proceeding in the Discernment of Presumed Apparitions or Revelations’ aims to assess the credibility of such religious events in accordance with church doctrine.
