Anthony Aguero, a conservative activist from Texas, has announced his bid to run for the U.S. House of Representatives. Aguero was part of the crowd that stormed the Capitol building on January 6, 2021, and filmed himself during the incident. He is now campaigning for a seat in the House, representing Texas’s 16th Congressional District.

Aguero, who has close ties to Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, describes himself as a “proud American patriot.”
