Blinken, ahead of China visit, calls out Beijing’s ongoing ‘genocide’ against minority Muslims

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has condemned Beijing’s actions against the Muslim minority population in China in strong terms, referring to them as an ongoing ‘genocide’ ahead of his expected visit to the country. China has been widely accused of human rights abuses against Uighur Muslims in the Xinjiang region, something which they vehemently deny.
