The U.S. Navy is proceeding to equip one of its ships with its first hypersonic weapon, a development revealing the strategic shift towards high-speed technology. The ship chosen for this upgrade is the USS ‘Zumwalt’, a ship that was initially perceived as a ‘costly blunder’ due to its over-budget expenses and complications during its production phase.
