Political chat at work is frequent and fraught, Gallup survey shows

According to a recent Gallup survey, discussions on politics are becoming more intense and commonplace at work. The survey reveals that these political conversations often lead to disputes, creating a tense work environment. The frequent politically-fraught discourse reportedly involves a variety of individuals, from co-workers to supervisors, demonstrating that workplace politicking is not confined to any one group.

The study suggests businesses may need to look into moderating policy discussions on their premises, given that these political chats seem to be impacting the work environment negatively
